SS water-cooled heatsinks
SS13
This water-cooled heatsink is machined from high-thermal-conductivity metal and incorporates efficient internal water-cooling channels. The standard configuration includes water inlet and outlet connections, a Belleville spring clamping mechanism, high-strength insulating tie rods and a yellow insulating locating ring, supporting double-sided water cooling and secure clamping of high-power disc-type devices such as KP and KK thyristors. It features very high heat dissipation efficiency, low thermal resistance, compact dimensions and good electrical insulation. Main applications include very-high-power rectifier power supplies, high- and medium-frequency induction heating, electrolysis and electroplating, large motor soft starting, and rail traction converters. Select according to device power losses, mounting clamping force, cooling-water flow, pressure and water quality requirements.

Questions before ordering
What should I include in an enquiry?
Check the contact surfaces and mechanical assembly against the requirements of the press-pack device. Confirm that water connection details match the intended cooling circuit before selecting the heatsink. Clarify coolant requirements and water operating conditions in relation to device losses and the complete assembly.
Can a heatsink be selected using dimensions alone?
SS water-cooled heatsinks use high-thermal-conductivity metal for press-pack power devices. Check contact geometry, clamping force and mechanical assembly, then match water connections, flow, pressure and water quality to the cooling circuit. Assess device losses and actual operating conditions with the proposed cooling arrangement; external dimensions alone do not establish compatibility with the device or water circuit.
Which documents should I request?
Identify the model-specific datasheet, dimensional drawing, test records and any market-specific compliance evidence your project requires. Confirm their scope with the quotation.
